Through our series of healthcare policy-led events, training resources and continuous sharing of information we aim to offer support to NHS organisations, primary care professionals, local councils, social care providers and the community, voluntary and social enterprise sectors.
In addition to the above, we believe that collaboration between many other sectors is needed (eg, energy, urban planning, transport, industry, and health). Our aim is to build a relationship between health and other sectors, to improve health outcomes and initiate dialogues that benefit all sectors involved.
We recognise that population health is not merely a product of health sector programmes but largely determined by policies that guide actions beyond the health sector. Policy in every sector of government can potentially affect health and inequities in health.
Working alongside Peloton’s already established verticals, our collaborative approach aims to harness learning and share information with other policy areas such as those influencing transport, housing and urban planning, the environment, education, agriculture, finance, taxation and economic development so that they to promote overall health and health equity.
