Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson is Head of Health Equity Strategy, Partnerships and Community Engagement at UKHSA. She lead’s UKHSA’s work to take a health equity approach across its health protection services and support the delivery of equitable health security outcomes including through applying the CORE20PLUS framework and establishing partnerships with communities. She is also the UKHSA steering group lead for the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance and Research and Inclusion Lead for the Evaluation and Behavioural Science Health Protection Research Unit. Prior to working at UKHSA, Amy delivered health systems strengthening programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa, working with government and communities to strengthen participation in the financing, planning and delivery of health services. In her spare time, Amy is a trustee for the Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre and volunteers through British Cycling to get more women confident riding their bikes.
