Stevie McLaughlin

I hold wide responsibilities including strategy, assurance, statutory reporting, performance management and sustainable procurement within NHS National Procurement, a division of PSDScotland and the Procurement Centre of Expertise for Health in Scotland.

Our organisation is tasked with a contracting portfolio of around £1.9bn of spend annually and we are responsible for the logistics and distribution of around £230m of products to NHSScotland hospitals annually. We are also recognised as the body responsible for setting a central vision and oversight for the procurement profession in NHSScotland.

Me and my team represent the organisation across NHSScotland, cross-sectoral, governmental and supplier forums, engaging with senior policy, operational and industry leads to influence future direction across the Environmental, Social & Governance landscape as these pertain to Procurement and Supply.

I am a fully qualified coach and part of the PSDScotland coaching cohort; and a great believer in continuous personal development and unlocking the potential of people to deliver the answers to the big issues we face.
