Rebecca Jones

As Director of Research and Development Policy at The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), Rebecca is responsible for influencing government policy to improve the attractiveness for industry pre-clinical and clinical research. Before joining ABPI, Rebecca spent over a decade as a policymaker in central government working at the interface of research and policy including roles in the Government Office for Science, on international research and innovation policy, and most recently in the Office for Life Sciences. Before becoming a policymaker, Rebecca worked as a molecular biologist in cancer research and diagnostic test development.
