Rachael Skates

Rachael Skates is a registered nurse with a career of nearly 40yrs with 20ys experience in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). She started her career at Guys Hospital London and has gone on to specialise in the field of IPC, working across acute and community settings, and has held IPC leadership roles within the Integrated care board and the position of Deputy Director of IPC within a Mental Health Trust.
Rachael has a BSc in Health protection and a MSc in Public Health & management and is a qualified coach. Currently working at South East Coast Ambulance Trust (SECAmb) as the IPC Lead. Rachael is also a Queens nurse and a Florence Nightingale Leadership scholar.
