Marie Brousseau-Navarro
Deputy Commissioner & Director for Health - Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales

Marie is the Deputy Commissioner and Director for Health at the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales. She's designed and leads on the Commissioner's health and well-being mission to facilitate a transformation in the way we keep people healthy, with a greater focus on prevention and the long term. This is to help public bodies to work together to tackle the root causes of ill health and addressing health inequalities. She helped set up the office in 2016 together with the first Commissioner.  As Deputy Commissioner since 2021 and former Chief Operating Officer, she makes sure the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner walks the talk and operates as efficiently and sustainably as they can. Marie is ‘adopted Welsh’ originally from France having lived in Wales for 25 years.
