Lucas Rodriguez

Hi, I'm Lucas Rodriguez, the Senior Sustainability Manager at CLCH and West London Trust.

My career started in nursing, where I worked my way up from junior roles to Senior Charge Nurse and later became an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Along the way, I earned two master’s degrees and am now finalising my PhD.

In recent years, I’ve focused on making healthcare more sustainable.

When I discovered that everything we do in healthcare has an environmental impact, I realised this was counter to why I became a healthcare professional in the first place—to prevent and cure diseases.

This realisation drove me to take action.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me playing sports or enjoying the great outdoors.

I love being active and staying connected with nature—it’s a big part of what drives my commitment to sustainability.
