CSH Partners with ISN to Advance Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care

The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) is excited to announce its partnership with the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) to launch the Advancing Environmentally Sustainable Kidney Care (GREEN-K) Initiative.

As a global leader in nephrology, the ISN is committed to enhancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of kidney diseases. This collaboration marks a significant step in integrating sustainable practices into kidney care on a global level.

Key Objectives of the Partnership:

  • Encouraging Participation: Inspiring individuals to join the Kidney Care Sustainability Network (link is external).
  • Disseminating Knowledge: Sharing insights and resources widely from the KitNewCare (link is external) project.
  • Expanding Reach: Strengthening the activities and influence of the Kidney Care Sustainability Champions.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Engaging other medical specialties with CSH and ISN’s sustainability initiatives.
  • Developing Fellowship Programmes: Creating an international fellowship programme through the CSH-ISN collaboration.

By combining their efforts, CSH and ISN aim to collect and share key educational resources and case studies, promoting best practices in sustainable kidney care. This partnership is set to drive significant progress, making kidney care services worldwide more environmentally sustainable.
