William Rabey

William Rabey is Director of HVAC Retrofit at 361 Degrees, leading the development and delivery of the company’s HVAC retrofit and decarbonisation offering.

William works with property owners, occupiers and project teams to identify practical opportunities to improve the energy performance, resilience and operational efficiency of existing buildings. His focus is firmly on delivery — translating decarbonisation objectives into technically viable projects that can be designed, costed, procured and implemented.

Working closely with 361’s engineering, design and project delivery teams, William brings together HVAC, electrical and wider building-services considerations to develop solutions that balance carbon reduction with capital cost, operational requirements, occupant comfort and whole-life value.

For the life sciences sector, William is particularly interested in the challenge of decarbonising technically demanding buildings where ventilation, temperature control, air quality, pressure regimes and operational resilience cannot simply be compromised in pursuit of energy savings.

His approach is centred on making decarbonisation practical: understanding the existing asset, identifying the right interventions, building a credible business case and ultimately delivering the works safely and effectively.
