Michael is Head of Supply Resilience and Sustainability in the MedTech team at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). He has led policy development for DHSC for 9 years, including for EU Exit, Occupational Health and Substances of Human Origin (SoHO). In MedTech, Michael’s team has responsibility for delivering the Design for Life Roadmap – the government’s vision to transition to a circular economy in MedTech by 2045, through greater reuse, remanufacture and recycling.
