I am a qualified professional nurse with over 25 years of experience across diverse healthcare settings, including general medicine and surgery within acute hospitals, community-based services, and commissioning support roles both in the United Kingdom and overseas. Over the past 15 +years, I have developed a strong and sustained focus on Public Health and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).I currently serve as the Head of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, where I also contribute in the capacity of Staff Governor and EDI Advocate.. My approach is grounded in public health principles, quality improvement, and the delivery of safe, quality and evidence-based care for all people . This commitment aligns closely with my specialist work in IPC—an area that spans all sectors of healthcare and is fundamental to the effective and safe delivery of any health care service.
