Ben Dory

Ben is a Director of Global Sustainability Corporate Affairs at AstraZeneca. Beyond his work on AstraZeneca’s sustainability mission, he also works within the Sustainable Markets Initiative (a consortium of healthcare companies, NGOs, healthcare systems and others) to build evidence and partnership around ways to decarbonise healthcare by improving outcomes. This has included a recent study demonstrating that better outcomes can lead to considerable decarbonisation of the diabetes care pathway, and he is currently collaborating on a tool called CARESA that will allow any healthcare system to measure the carbon footprint of a treatment pathway.
