Director - Carbon Catapult
Steve spent 32 years in the aviation industry, firstly as an aircraft engineer and then a flight simulator engineer with British Airways, before moving to ATC at Edinburgh, Prestwick and finally Gatwick. These roles evolved to include carbon & quality and Steve moved to head up Quality & Standards in ATC before leaving 5 years ago to lead the ISO and carbon standards support with Intu Veritas (IV) and Carbon Catapult who are part of the IV Group as joint Director and co-owner.
Both IV and Carbon Catapult work with clients nationally and internationally across multiple sectors in carbon management planning, analysis & reporting, carbon standards implementation, auditing, ISO implementation & training. Steve recently led the ISO 50001 & ISO 14001 implementation and successful achievement of the UKAS ISO certificated systems with InHealth Group across 200 buildings, and supported in the sustainability and information required for carbon reporting as an addition to the scope of works. Equally he is leading client projects such as Kodak Alaris Group in GHG planning, PAS 2060 & ISO 14068 alignment and carbon management support, as well as other SME’s and corporate requirements for Carbon support.
